Karmly integrates with Employment Hero a cloud-based payroll platform for Australian businesses. Pay contractors and increase compliance through pre-built Awards and support for custom EBA’s.
We create pay lines in Employment Hero directly from timesheets recorded in Karmly for Australian payroll processing.
Connecting Employment Hero
To integrate with KeyPay, go to Manage > Integrations. Select Employment Hero and enter your Employment Hero API Key (found in your Account settings under your name in Employment Hero).
Once you've entered the API Key, press connect.
Select the Employment Hero business you would like Karmly to connect to.
And set the default pay category, location, and pay schedule for any new employees.
Once the integration is correctly synced you will see a green light on the Integrations page in Karmly for Employment Hero.
Set Pay Items
Under Manage > Work set the appropriate Pay Item on any work items your resources will be recording their time against.
Once you're all setup you're ready to add your resources to a Pay Calendar from the Pay Summary screen and send pays to your Employment Hero account.

Field Mappings
The integration mapping from Karmly to Employment Hero loads standard fields from Karmly employees and pays.
The following fields are taken from the Resource in Karmly to new employee records created in Employment Hero, and are kept updated to reflect the data in Karmly:
First Name
Last Name
Email Address
Mobile Phone
Date of Birth
Address
These fields are sent through to Employment Hero when Karmly first creates the employee, but won't be updated by any subsequent syncs from Karmly:
Tax Number
Start Date
Employment Type (defaults to casual)
Pay Category
Location
Pay Schedule
Bank Account
If you or the resource complete the TFN declaration form in Karmly the details from the TFND will be sent through to Employment Hero and kept up to date based on any changes made in Karmly.
Sync Changes
You can sync changes to your employees from Karmly to Employment Hero under Manage > Integrations > Employment Hero by clicking Sync. If you've updated the Pay Schedule on any employees in Employment Hero their new Pay Schedule will also be synced back to Karmly.
Alternatively, if you wish to sync only one resource you can do so from their user record under Manage > People.
